Canberra Chapter

Welcome to the website of the Canberra Chapter of ISACA formerly known as the Information Systems Audit and Control Association.

This chapter was formed in 1985. The Chapter has around 200 members, many of whom are employed by, or work with, the Australian Federal Government.

Although the Chapter is relatively small, it is quite active, typically organising around 10 professional update sessions and a number of courses or seminars each year. In 2001 the Chapter successfully hosted Oceania CACS 2001 and will be hosting CACS again in September 2009.

A number of local members are active in ISACA International affairs, being members of various International Boards and Committees.  The Chapter Board meets monthly, usually at lunchtime at the premises of Ernst & Young.
